My newest little stamper...

I am very proud to announce the safe arrival of my newest little stamper, Miss Georgia Isabella Mae Blewitt was born on Friday 12th September at 1.05pm.  Halle thinks her little sister is pretty special and loves to give her kisses and cuddles.  Georgia is a fantastic sleeper and if she continues this way I'll be back stamping very soon.

   

 

Birthday Bottle Topper Card

Some of you have seen me make the straight bottle topper (non card front) before, well today I got a little more creative and designed one which has a card front.  I designed the topper for our neighbour who turned 50 yesterday, Happy Birthday Kevin!  As you will see from the photos, the card and the top are one piece of cardstock, I've just made a few cuts here and there to get it to open.  If anyone would like instructions on how to make a bottle topper with or without a card front just email me and I'll send them to you.

Paper: Outlaw DSP, Chocolate Chip, Sage Shadow, Really Rust, Very Vanilla.  Ink: Chocolate Chip Marker, Close to Cocoa.  Accessories: Non-SU Chipboard, 1 3/8" Circle Punch, Slit Punch, Basic Eyelets, Crop-A-Dile, Two-way Glue Pen, Snail, Sponges.

Colour Inspiration Challenge #21

One of my most frequented blogs is www.kwernerdesign.com/blog, Kristina Werner is a graphic designer and employee of Stampin' Up! in the states.  I just adore her work and for a long time keep meaning to participate in one of her Colour Inspiration challenges (mind you I have actually made a CIC card before but couldn't take any pics as I couldn't find my camera battery charger - sorry I digress.  Anyway, I'm pleased to say that I finally have put together a card for her current challenge. 

Please forgive the quality of the photos, it is very overcast here today and therefore I can't get any good lighting.  So, do you like how I've used Dew Drops to pick up the colours in the challenge, as you know I'm rather partial to DD and think they look great!

Birthday Pull Treat

  

This is the cover I made for some cute magnets I gave my upline Katie for her birthday.  These gorgeous covers were designed for things like chocolate bars, but I could see that it would work just as well for the magnets.  To reveal what is inside you just pull on the ribbon, there is no need to untie.  You may need to click on the pictures to see how I have clear embossed the So Swirly wheel, looks rather gorgeous - don't you think?  The tutorial for Pull Treats can be found on Splitcoaststampers, click here.
