The reason for this post is I want to say a huge THANKYOU to my lovely friend Andy. Andy is a brilliant artist who very kindly lent her talents to my craft room wall. Here is Andy hard at work (she'll probably hate me for posting this photo of her) but would you believe that it only took her one day to paint, in fact not even a full day, only a few hours. It was great to be able to sit and play at my craft table whilst watching her paint - and extremely addictive! Andy not only paints her own original artwork, but as she has done here, is able to re-create work. All I did was provide her with a picture I found on the internet, she made some adjustments and then got to work painting it free-hand (which, for those of you who might be concerned, is ok when it comes to copyright issues).
I am also extremely lucky that Andy has painted some gorgeous works in both of my daughter's rooms, which when I get around to it, I will take some photos and post them for you to see. So, if anyone is looking to commission an artist to paint an original, decorate rooms, etc then Andy is your woman!!!!! Wow, what a lovely room and great idea of decorating a wall. Sigh, my room need redecorating.
